Charles Moss (Charlie) Duke, Jr. was born 3rd October, 1935 in North Carolina, USA. He is an engineer, retired United States Air Force Brigadier General, test pilot, and former astronaut for NASA. As Lunar Module Pilot for Apollo 16, he became the tenth and youngest person to walk on the Moon. Charlie and his wife Dorothy (Dotty) have two sons and nine grand-children.
